The Very Best Sounds Of Nature began as an attempt at emulating the sounds of nature by digital means. Later, it evolved into the cohesive set of tracks here assembled.

In Leisky’s words. “the idea of reproducing natural things digitally is still a quite disconcerting one. The common consensus is that digital is cold, hard-edged, and unfeeling. The Very Best Sounds Of Nature is that, but it’s also an attempt to capture the sunlight. As such, I think this album captures my work at both its most uncomfortable and most beautiful.”
