NOTHING IMMUE, OV PAIN's second release on mf/mp, picks up where their first left off – Tarkovsky-esque sci-fi meets the memory of free jazz in a blender amongst experimental post-punk and attitude.

Save for a distant rumbles, traces of outings prior to SPUR are replaced by what is now a signature brooding intensity. A rolling boil. A crunching, crackling bed of MS-20 over which flights of Minilogue mingle with layers of saxophone.

Having formed initially in the hard coldness of Dunedin, New Zealand, Naarm / Melbourne-based OV PAIN are comprised of Renée Barrance (Élan Vital) on synthesiser and Tim Player (Opposite Sex) on saxophone. They have released material via CocoMuse, Vacant Valley, Independent Woman Records, and Zero Style.
