  In March, 2018, Daisy Wells was invited to Auckland's Academy Cinemas to preform a live score for Louis Webber's 1915 silent drama, The Hypocrites. Over the course of the film, Wells weaves together field recordings, recurring samples of monastic intonation, synthesized drones and delicate harp-drawn twinkles, creating a dense sonic cloud in response to Webber's anticlerical satire.
